Sachin Vs Ponting. Who is the Best??

Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting are two different batsmen with different qualities. Both are considered among the best players the world has ever seen. Sachin ruled the world of cricket during the 90s and Ricky Ponting rules in the current decade. Sachin holds the records for the most number of runs and hundreds in one day international. He also hold the record for the most hundreds in test matches and is about to become the leading run getter in test, surpassing Brian Lara's record. However his one day record will be there intact for a long time and it is a tough nut to crack. But as far as his test records are considered, those wont last for more than 2 years as Ricky Ponting is fastly catching up. He is only 3 centuries behind sachin and also around 1500 runs behind. Ricky is one and a half year younger than Sachin and also appears to be more fitter than the latter. Ricky also has a healthy average of around 58, much better than Sachin's average of around 54. Both the players has nothing left to prove about their capabilities.
The debate is about who is the best batsmen. Many says that Sachin is next to Don Bradman and the best batsmen of the current generation, even though his performance during the last 5 years never justify that fact. Currently he is a pale shadow of his former self. He also draws a lot of criticism for failing under pressure situations, his low averages in the second innings etc.
Ponting on the other hand, started his career 6 years after Sachin made his debut. He had a slow but steady start to his career and gradually evolved to become one of the best batsman the world has ever seen. He has been scoring damn consistently over the last 8 years and has also tasted huge success in leading his country. Ponting himself acknowledges Sachin as the best batsmen, but I doubt so. There are many others who considers Ricky Ponting ahead of Sachin.

So I would like to know all your views and comments on this topic. Feel free to comment on this issue.

Mangalore Still Tense..

The situation is still tense in Mangalore following the attack on several churches on the 14th of September 2008 by Bajrang Dal and VHP activists. This led to violent protest by the Christians on Monday and it was accompanied with the Police lathi charges. Still no action has been taken by the Karnataka government against the culprits. The Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa has defended the Bajrang Dal and VHP activities by saying that the attacks have taken place in areas where conversions were taking place. The wounds of the attacks on the Christian communities in Orissa are yet to be healed. Now it has surfaced in the state of Karnataka and also in Kasargod District in Kerala. When will the government take appropriate steps to tackle these problems? It seems that the Government also wishes to see the churches and properties of Christians to be attacked and demolished.

Indian Mujahuddin Strikes Again

The Indian Mujahuddin has struck again. This time at the National Capital - Delhi. On the 13th of September 2008, the Indian Mujahuddin struck at the most important regions in Delhi which include Connaught Place, Carol Bagh, Greater Kailash and other places. The strike took place after 6 PM and has so far claimed the lives of more than 20 people.
Still we are not able to tackle these terror attacks and the Police forces are not up to the mark. They are still running greedily after bribes to fatten their pockets. No serious activities are taken in order to prevent the terrorist attack. The case is also similar with the Government of India. They are a bunch of useless people, who doesn't take care of its people. The other politicians are no better.

Violence Continues in Orissa

The violence between the Hindus and the Christians followed after the death of Swami Lakshmanananda has so far taken 16 lives and forced around 10000 people to take refugee in the forests of Orissa. Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati and four of his close aids had been killed in a grenade attack on 23rd August 2008. The Hindus believe that the murder was planned and executed by some sects of the Christians. As a result violence broke out in Orissa claiming a lot of innocent lives and their belongings. The Sangh Parivar and VHP were in the thick of action in this anti Christian riots. They claim that the Christian missionaries in Orissa have been involved in forceful conversion, for which Swami Lakshmanananda was against. As the result Sanpar Parivar /VHP strongly believes that the Christians are behind the plot. A lot of Christians in various villages fled to the forest in order to save their lives. Even small children were not spared in the riots. Such a inhuman behavior was never expected by VHP and the Sangh Parivar. Byt killing these innocents they could not even punish the real culprits, on the other hand they just cut short the life span of some of the innocents. The Orissa Government was a total failure in controlling the situation.
The Kandhamal District in Orissa suffered the most as a large number of houses belonging to the Christians were charred to ashes.

India in Serious Problem..

The recent blasts in Bangalore and Ahmedabad, followed by threats in other parts of India points the finger to the fact that India is facing serious problems from the terrorist or the so called Indian Mujahuddin. Such is the loop hole in the Indian security system that its is easier for anyone to plan such attacks. The Indian law also offers a large respite for the attackers. As we all know that many people were arrested on behalf of the previous terror attacks in various Indian cities. But still no verdict has been issued on them. The court is also very slow in coming up with any verdicts, which gives the culprits ample opportunity. If this doesn't improves, there is no doubt that India is in serious trouble.

Bike Traced in NOIDA Murder Case

The motor bike used in the murder case of former Virgin Atlantic airhostess Sheeba Thomas has been traced to Jitendra Yadav . According to the police officials, Jitendra is a well known notorious criminal.
UP Director General of Police Vikram Singh said Jitendra Yadav surrendered in connection with another murder case. He is suspected to be involved in the latest attacks, since a motorcycle used to commit a spate of crimes on Tuesday night has been recovered from his house.
The Uttar Pradesh Government on Thursday dispatched a posse of top officials to Noida and held a series of meetings with police officers.
Regarding the murder of former airhostess, two policemen have been suspended on behalf of duty negligence. Actually to say the fact, in my experience the Police force in NOIDA cannot be blamed for this. These guys are very much busy taking bribes and forced payments from the violators of law. Some times they remember me of some beggers. They even settle for a bribe of 10 rupees. I have seen this incident many times infront of my eyes. No culture, no loyalty towards government, no commitment towards the service. They are being payed for nothing, just taking bribes from the poor. Even for registering a simple complaint, they ask for bribe.

Violence in Maharasthra ? North Indians flees from Mumbai...

The recent protest against North Indians by Raj Thackeray led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has caused a havoc in the city and the north Indians working in various cities of Maharashtra are forced to flee to their home town. The violence which broke out followed by the arrest of Raj Thackeray, has resulted in the death of one person and several others have been injured so far. The protest was organized due to a belief among the Maharashtrians, that due to the large number of North Indian working in Maharashtra, the locals are not getting enough jobs. But India is a democratic country and anybody can work anywhere in India and doesn't need any separate work permit for that. But the MNS are not aware, that the average Maharshtrians are not good for hardworking and they are good only at making such type of foolish protest against the hardworking Northies. Actualy they don't know to treat the fellow Indians as their brothers and they are creating barriers by dividing India as South India, North India, East India etc and creating hatred among each other. The so called leader Raj Thackeray has lit the fire by creating divisions such as north and west and he is taking the advantage, with the coming elections in his mind. Actually this is a bad taste for me, as I am experiencing such a problem for the first time in India. If you are not good at anything why are you creating obstacles to the good and hardworking ones. If you have to be good and disciplined, you have to be educated at least to the matriculation level, which is offered for free throughout India. Otherwise you would never get a job and you will ending up doing protest and strikes for some foolish leaders like Raj Thackeray, who is all set to put dirt on his uncle, the one and only Bal Thackeray, who was an icon of a true human.

India, a Heaven for Terrorists????

With the recent happenings in India, it seems that India is a heaven for Terrorists. The terrorists seems to be aiming the major cities and areas. The most embarassing thing is that these terrorists which were found only in the northern parts of India, has started shifting its operations towards the south, which is evident from the recent terrorist camp raid in the jungles of Karnataka. A Hizbul terrorist was also arrested from Kumily in Kerala, a month back. Actually the Central Government and the State Government are doing nothing to stop the blooming of these terrorist activities in different parts of Country. Both the so called Central and State Government have no time to look into this, as they are busy playing dirty politics and enlarging their pockets. The political leaders also get more money from these terrorist, when they allow them to do these type of activities. They don’t look into its after effects. Actually such types of activities has to be ripped of in its budding stage other wise India will be in the hands of these terrorists in the near future. Its time for the corruptive authorities to take sever action against the alarming growth of terrorist activities in India. There should be enough support from the puplic inorder to eradicate the terrorist and their activity camps from India.

Lalu's Sons gets manhandled on New Year........

Railway Minister Lalu Prasad's two sons got manhandled on the eve new year in Delhi. They got int trouble for allegedly indulging in eve-teasing on New Year's eve and were beaten up by some unidentified youths in south Delhi. Lalu's sons, Tarun and Tejpal were accompanied by their personal security officer. But he also lost his pistol during the fight. While returning after attending a party at Chhatarpur area on Delhi-Haryana border, they allegedly passed some remarks at girls who were partying at a farm house near Mehrauli, and as a result they got assaulted by a group of youngsters. The two lads were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital to nurse their bruises. Actually in a democratic country like India the sons, daughters and relatives of the top government officals have been misusing their power and freedom. This is a fitting reply for those who are misusing their power. Kudos to the young Indians for their effort in giving fitting reply to these political kids.
